Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and expressions of support in the wake of Duke's death.  We're doing fairly well.  Missing the big Goof terribly, of course, but grateful for the 12+ years we had with him.  Your good wishes have meant a lot to us.

Unfortunately, Life is playing rough again.  My father suffered a stroke last night, and as I write is in critical but stable condition.
