- I am thankful for Tamiflu, and that we have a pediatrician who was able to track some down for Young'un. The boy is doing remarkably well, all things considered.
- I am thankful that WB was breech so late into my pregnancy, and our pediatrician thought to ask if that was why she had been born by c-section. She showed no strong signs of dysplasia, and had she not been breech I doubt she would have been screened so early. The start of treatment would have been delayed, if it was started at all.
- As frustrated as we have been with the slow pace of WB's treatment, we are beyond thankful that her orthopaedist has been willing to give her hips so much time to resolve on their own.
- Although WB may eventually need surgery, we are thankful that we will never have to wonder if there was something more that could have been done to avoid it.
- Above all, I am thankful that B's employer provides health insurance that gives us access to such fine medical care for ourselves and our children. I wish that everyone could have the same peace of mind.

Thankful Thursdays
While my plans to join NaBloPoMo have already fallen short (and aren't I thankful not to have made those half-formed plans public!), I am still going to join Carole in Thankful Thursdays. With the events of the last few days fresh in my mind, it seems right and proper for this week's entry to be a medical edition:
